After completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Merlin Koshy moved to the USA more than a decade ago to make Mesquite, TX, her home. She joined her husband and decided to move to California, where her husband worked. She shadowed a local dentist there, which motivated her to further her career.
Her hard work paid off as she was selected for the DDS program at the University at Buffalo(SUNY), New York. Dr. Koshy gained tremendous experience through her voluntary experience in various organizations like RAM(Remote Area Medical), including a dental mission trip to Dakar, Senegal, while she was in dental school. After completing her degree, she decided to move back to Mesquite, TX, where she joined her family. Ever since, she has been practicing in the DFW area and is excited to open her own practice in Sunnyvale, TX, and provide patient-focused dental care in the Sunnyvale/Mesquite area. Dr. Koshy strives to keep herself updated with the latest technology in dentistry and has equipped herself with state-of-the-art equipment to serve your dental needs. When she is not in the office, she loves to spend time with her family. She loves to play with her 3-year-old son and 3-month old daughter. She likes to travel with her family and enjoys trying out different cuisines.
Dr. Momin completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he was named to the Dean’s List and received the AAOMS Philip J. Boyne Scholarship. He actively volunteers with International Public Health Outreach in St. George’s, Grenada, and regularly joins the Chicago Oral Cancer Walk. Dr. Momin is also a proud member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Dr. Momin completed his undergraduate education at Georgia State University, Atlanta, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry. He then went on to receive his Masters of Science in Organic Chemistry at Georgia State University. Soon after, he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from New York University.

My goal is to provide the highest quality of care for all my patients by utilizing the latest state-of-the-art technology.”

Dr. Momin was born in India and grew up in Atlanta, GA. In his spare time, he enjoys an active lifestyle. He also loves to travel (especially to Morocco!) and he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, and cheer on his favorite sports teams.
Dr. McCartney is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Science. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry and completed a six-year oral surgery residency at UMKC/Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
